Are you ready to inspire and lead the next generation of electric utility linemen? Utilitrain seeks a seasoned expert—a dynamic instructor dedicated to shaping tomorrow's professionals. This role goes beyond teaching; we’re looking for a mentor, a leader, and a hands-on industry veteran who’s faced the challenges of restoring power during storms, worked across all terrains and conditions, and understands the demands and rewards of this critical field. If you’ve climbed countless poles, navigated the toughest weather, and know what it takes to excel in this industry, we invite you to bring that invaluable experience to Utilitrain and help our students achieve their highest potential.
Your mission will be turning our green recruits into tough-as-nails lineworkers. You'll be teaching with a team of others with industry experience, both in a classroom and field experience on our 38 acre campus.
Responsibilities? You'll be instructing students through a well-documented pre-apprentice program, ensure they can do basic fieldwork exercises safely, and are ready to hit the ground running when they are hired at a utility company. You'll be responsible to evaluate their progress, provide feedback, and guide them to success, one lesson at a time.
Apart from the satisfaction of molding the next generation of lineworkers, you'll be part of a school that values its people, offers competitive compensation, and is passionate about building partnerships that will last a lifetime. We provide the best hands-on training available.
So, if you are driven to help the next generation succeed, and have what it takes to shape our students into lineworkers, we want to hear from you.
